how will drama therapy look like in my sessions?
The entire process is client lead. The therapist will assess he client’s drama readiness and develop activities accordingly. The session can include anything from simple talk therapy to role play, story making, drawing etc. If the client prefers mostly talking to begin with, the therapist will lead with that. I have no drama experience, I’m shy I don’t like drama or performance All personality types benefit from drama therapy ( just as you would from a traditional psychologist). There is no right and wrong personality type.

Individual counseling allows for me to understand the character, personality, challenges and goals of the client. It also ensures that the approach is tailored for the client - drama readiness is assessed so the work is effective.
My solution based approach ensures that we don’t use a generic, cookie-cutter approach.
Couples work can become complex as both parties may be in different spaces. I work in a non-biased manner, understanding each person’s stance.
Goals are created early in the process and each session is created to align with these goals (whilst allowing room for flexibility based on outcome).
Trauma debriefing and counselling requires holding a safe space for clients after they experience a traumatic event.
It involves providing emotional and psychological support to prevent the development of post-traumatic stress disorder and other negative consequences.
The workplace can be a significantly challenging environment.
Understanding balance, objective thinking, one’s own development and internal world is imperative to growth. I assist with:
• De-stressing activities
• Goals
• Understanding present context
• Work-like balance
• Clinical counselling tackling psychological challenges
• General development
Clinical and non-clinical groupwork has multiple benefits. It is strictly confidential and only works for certain individuals. Facilitators conduct numerous exercises to work towards group goals.
This aims to ignite both individual and collective change. Group work settings:
• Academic environments
• Corporate Companies
• NGO and NPO spaces
• Clinical organisations (hospitals, rehab centres, clinics).
The session includes tools to help your child build an emotional vocabulary & build confidence
my approach
I prefer to combine traditional psychological practices with drama therapeutic techniques.
The first three sessions are simply used for assessment purposes. Thereafter a treatment plan is executed.
The approach is tailored per person– building a trustable relationship is paramount to the success of therapy.
